I've been training SCUBA divers since mid 70's and operated dive businesses in Florida , Belize, and Virgin Islands. I've had dozens of instructors over the years and as a new free diver I'd rate Bobby as one of the best for his ability to communicate and patience. He made gasping for breath rewarding.

After years of spearfishing I decided to give freediving a shot and absolutely enjoyed the Level 1 course. Dan Koval was great at communicating his knowledge of freediving and made the 3 days enjoyable. My friends stated that I could skip the level 1 class and go straight to the level 2 since I already could do a 20M dive. After the classes I can honestly say it wasn’t all about diving deep and getting to the bottom. I learned to dive 20M more effectively to prepare me for deeper dives. I learned about safety, gear, and also learned that I am 100% interested in pursuing freediving. All I can say is that I had a good time and so should you
